Welcome to Talk–Listen–Care Counseling (Matt 11:28)
When illness, grief, or life’s unexpected turns disrupt our sense of self, it can feel difficult to find steady ground. At Talk–Listen–Care Counseling, I offer a space where your story is met with compassion, curiosity, and care—a place to lay down burdens and begin the work of healing.
As a Medical Family Therapist, my approach weaves together Narrative Therapy, Narrative Medicine, and a spiritually grounded perspective. I believe that healing often begins when we are heard—when we are invited to speak freely, listened to deeply, and cared for without judgment.
The name of this practice comes from Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” These words reflect the heart of this work—to provide rest for the weary, space for the brokenhearted, and support that honors both your story and your sacred worth.
Inspired by the words of Carl Rogers (On Becoming a Person), I believe “deep understanding is… the most precious gift one can give to another.” It is my calling and privilege to walk alongside you in that spirit.
